Accidental innovation knows no bounds - a simple law in Mumbai that prohibits residents from handing over stray dogs to the authorities has resulted in an amazing reduction in crime at night. Every night while the rest of Mumbai sleeps, the dog brigade takes over and armies of stray dogs wander around like lions - one cannot help but marvel at the result - a safer city - as they say -' leave it to the dogs'.
